YES for Tempe Kids 2022 Bond
You Make a World of Difference
The importance of continuing our Tempe Elementary District Bond means continuing to create and build better schools for a better future. The Tempe Elementary School District Governing Board has called for voters to approve a $196.5 million bond, which is essential to provide safe and modern learning environments. Our bond dollars will be used to perform critical maintenance projects, ensure campuses are safe and secure with current safety building code requirements, and replace aged school buses with more efficient buses. In addition, the bond will provide funding to improve two elementary and two middle schools through renovation or replacement, to provide facilities, furniture and equipment, and technology that support quality education programs for our students.
Approving the bond means our children will continue to receive the excellent educational opportunities in safe, inspiring, efficient and lovely learning environments that you have come to expect as a resident of the Tempe Elementary School District. Innovative and exceptional educational learning environments for students provide for excellent schools, which in turn improves property values and strengthens our local economy all while giving them opportunities to learn new skills, explore new ideas, and grow as learners. Every child in Tempe, and everywhere for that matter, deserves to have what they need to learn.
We are asking for no new money, only a continuation of our existing Bond. We would be most grateful for your continued support to sustain and enhance Tempe Elementary’s unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in academic achievement and financial stability. Please mail your ballot and vote “Yes” on or before October 31.
